Dr. Nicole Daddona prefers to schedule her own appointments via phone or email. This gives patients a chance to ask a few questions and get acquainted before the initial visit.

What to Expect

During the first visit Dr. Nicole will take ample time to obtain a history and learn about your health concerns. Things that may not seem important may be the thread that ties everything together. How you feel about things is relevant and important.  Pertinant physical exams will be performed and needed lab tests ordered. Please bring, fax,mail or e-mail the intake forms and any labs you may already have. You will leave with a detailed treatment plan. A follow up appointment is then scheduled for 1-2 weeks after your first visit to make sure the treatment plan is going well. Once a treatment plan has been established, the body is given time in order to heal. Follow up appointments will typically last 30-45 minutes and be about every month or so, this gives us time to tweak the treatment plan and address any new or old concerns that may come up. Healing is a process. Dr. Nicole walks with you on your journey. Her ultimate goal is to help you heal.

Insurance

Dr. Daddona's services are covered by many insurance plans. She is an in-network provider for a variety of insurance plans. Other insurance plans reimburse patients for her services as an out-of-network provider. Here are the different scenarios for naturopathic insurance coverage:

* IN-NETWORK PROVIDER. If Dr. Daddona is an in-network provider for your plan, and your insurance plan covers naturopathic care, Dr. Daddona will bill your insurance directly for the visit. You will be responsible for your co-payment at the time of the visit. Some insurance companies that are in-network are ASH, Providence, Aetna, CHP, Blue Cross and ODS.

* OUT-OF-NETWORK PROVIDER. If Dr. Daddona is not in your network, but your insurance provider reimburses for naturopathic care, Dr. Daddona will provide you with paperwork that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement after the visit. Payment in full to Salus Natural Medicine is required at the time of the visit, and the insurance company later sends the reimbursement check directly to you.

* NO INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR NATUROPATHIC CARE. If your insurance company does not cover naturopathic care, payment in full is required at the time of the visit. Dr. Daddona offers a 20% discount off her usual and customary fees for a new patient visit when payment is received in full at the time of the visit.  A sliding scale may be available upon request. (Discount does not include lab tests or medicinary items.)

VISA, MASTERCARD, CASH and CHECKS are all accepted.
